My name is William Atkinson, the author of this web page and project for CS 1002.
I'm an aspiring Software Engineering student at SPSU. I hope one day to use the information I learn from Southern Polytechnic State University to make my pockets heavy and give myself and family an optional lifestyle. At this point school is my mission and my hobby. When I'm not working to support myself, more than likely I'm doing homework or studying some Microsoft technology. If there is anytime spent out side of the previously mentioned activities, nine times out of ten, that time will used enjoying some refreshing alcoholic beverages.

After graduate I would love to develop embedded software. Once I master development and gain the respect of my peers, I would like to move into management during the last portion of my career. I believe the engineering discplines require a person proven in the discpline. In many companies you'll find someone other than engineers managing a project. Sometimes the project managers may be business majors or someone from another CS discpline. However, I think a project will have a better chance of succeding with a proven Software Engineer.
