I only have a few activities that I waste my time with and they are:

When I'm not doing any of the activities listed above, I am usually at school or work. Sounds fun, huh?
As of right now, I am majoring in Computer Science(CS) which is the branch of engineering that studies mathematical processes and structures.
The reason I am taking CS at Southern Polytechnic is so that I can write computer programs well enough to work at a programming company. I would like to be good enough at writing programs to work for Pixar or another big computer graphics company. If I could make it to Pixar and do a good job, that would be the last place I would like to work before I retire.
Definitions of some CS vocabulary:
As mentioned before, computer science is the branch of engineering that studies mathematical processes and structures. To get a better understanding of Computer science you can visit the Encarta website
Software engineering is a systematic approach to the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of programs, routines, and symbolic languages that control the functioning of the hardware and direct its operation. Information technology is the study of things that store, and manipulate data.
Computer science makes graduates well prepared for professional positions and technical challenges in software design and development as well as in related areas of the computing field. Information Technology prepares students for a career involving the strategy, development, and administration of integrated computing, network and web systems while Software Engineering is the application of scientific and mathematical principles to programs, routines, and symbolic languages that control the functioning of the hardware and direct its operation.
So far, my CS 1002 class has mainly been about learning computer terms, which I can understand, but I would like for it to be more hands on. Nobody likes to listen to discussions every class.
